CBT Development Process

1. Create/Refine Outline

Based on input from the client and past CBT work, we would develop an outline that lists in detail what topics will be covered.

2. Storyboard/Prototype

At this stage, the following steps will be completed:

  • Lay out the CBT in a visual form, including words, placement, graphics and navigation scheme.
  • Prepare a prototype module to show how the CBT would work when done
  • Develop graphic standards for the interface in this step

3. Programming

After the storyboard is finalized and approved, we would program the templates. Templates are needed for WBT implementation and would contribute to unified "look and feel" of the application.

4. Embedding of Course Material, Testing and Revision

Once templates are created, we will start embedding content by using WBT Framework.

After a unit of material has been implemented, testing and revision will be performed.

5. Deployment

Course material, templates and CBT software package will be deployed on the web server
